The Crossing

The “Crossing” is a study in print, video and music, of the world’d busiest pedestrian crossing in Tokyo. Collaborator Phil Reeve provides a piano-based score “The Crossing” is a reflection on modern life, not just in Japan, but in urban centres worldwide, from a physical and psycholgical perspective; the constant rush versus our internal melancholy; feelings that are heightened by the pandemic as mass transportation is abandoned and city centres hollowed-out in response to Covid-19.
