Seren Esgynnol/Rising Star is a focus on early career talents from the world of poetry. Bethany Handley is a Monmouthshire-based poet, writer, campaigner and presenter. She was part of the Hay Festival 2024, and she was awarded a place in the Literature Wales’ ‘Representing Wales’ writer development programme in 2023.
