Leeway 10Pod is a series of eight podcasts Interviewing writers, composers and performers who have taken part in previous 10 Minute Musicals projects. Each week will feature conversations between Angharad Lee, artistic director of Leeway Productions, Luke Hereford, associate artist, alongside a writer-composer team and performers who have taken part in 10mm since its inception in 2016.

Episode 1

In this introductory episode, hosts Luke & Angharad tell listeners more about 10 Minute Musicals, and what they can expect from the series.

Episode 2

You and You and You and Me, written by Melanie, Tobias and Dafydd explores a humorous exaggeration of a young woman’s tentative steps towards adulthood.

Episode 3

Written by Bethan Jones and Jack Ronan, Banana Chips is a folky Welsh mini musical investigating a chance meeting between two strangers on a bus. (it has been adapted for this particular sharing shot during lockdown)

Episode 4

Circles of the Moon is a Dark and Tragic Love Story between a Greek Boatman called Kairos and the Celtic Crow Goddess, Morrigan – set on the shores of the River Styx, where Lost Souls are collected and ferried to The Underworld. Written by Peter Cox and Matthew Holmquist, with collaborators Megan Llewelyn and Gwydion Rhys.

Episode 5

Written by Andy Shore and Andrew Linham, this wonderful musical explores the hilarious twists and turns of the parents who have recently seen their offspring flee the nest.

Episode 6

Beautiful is written by Patrick Steed, Nicola Reynolds & Christopher Michael Young. When a relationship becomes fragmented and splintered, sometimes letting go of those final pieces is the hardest task.

Episode 7

Written by @llinos_mai and @kizzkezz ‘Shelf Life’ gives a cheeky insight into the World of one of our front-line workers and is a beautiful reminder that love can be found and lost in any aisle.

Episode 8

‘So Many Things’ is written by Benji Mowbray and Emily Garside. A collaboration which get us thinking about what we keep, what we throw away, and what’s really important to us.
