Symud o Gaerdydd / Moving from Cardiff

In 1970, SAIN moved from Brian Morgan Edwards’ front room in Ninian Road, Cardiff, to Llandwrog for a few years before taking a lease on a former canteen at Pen y Groes industrial estate in 1973. The company employed staff for the first time, starting with an accounts clerk and then a recording engineer. Another important development came with the release of the first LP, and the work of the company was extended beyond pop records to include other Welsh genres such as Male Voice choirs, folk music, canu penillion (singing poetry to harp accompaniment) and so on.
