How can creativity help people connect with Cymraeg in new ways?
We’re excited to share a new film celebrating Sgrech Flêr, a Llais y Lle project by Trishna Singh and Ladies of Rage.
Over the past year, the team has hosted bilingual writing workshops, music events and creative collaboration opportunities across Cardiff, Newport, Bridgend and Caerphilly. Through these sessions, music has become a way to build confidence, connection and engagement with Cymraeg.
Rooted in Ladies of Rage’s own experience of using songwriting to learn Welsh, the project creates welcoming creative spaces where language learning and self-expression can develop side by side.
Our Llais y Lle fund supports creative individuals and organisations to work collaboratively with communities to develop the use, confidence and ownership of Cymraeg through creativity and culture.
This film is presented in partnership with Am.
