Nelken Line is a piece of set choreography by the German choreographer Pina Bausch, who taught me the original movements in the 1980s, when I was a student in Germany. When Pina died there was a worldwide movement by the company to create site-specific Nelken Lines with different groups around the world. Our film has received a warm response, as people like the atmosphere of the church yard in Llan Ffestiniog.
