Lovely as a Tree

This is a film about Mary, who was 104 years old at the time of making the film. I met this extraordinary woman when I worked on the Age Cymru cARTrefu project. I was so taken by Mary’s vibrancy and when she spontaneously started reciting a poem by Tennyson, I wanted to capture Mary’s unique spirit and love of art in some way. The result is this film.
