Reading Friends is a UK-wide befriending project from The Reading Agency and funded by the Big Lottery Fund. The scheme is co-ordinated by partner organisations across the UK, and we are proud to be leading Reading Friends in Wales.
Delivered in partnership with public libraries, local communities and voluntary organisations, the project aims to empower, engage and connect older people and people with dementia and Carers by starting conversations through reading. Reading Friends is co-produced with older people and delivered through volunteers.
