Together for Change was set up in 2020 by the small charity in West Wales, Solva Care, in partnership with the Pembrokeshire Association of Voluntary Service (PAVS) and PLANED. It is a programme of work which places the wellbeing , prosperity and sustainability of communities of place at the centre of the policies and strategies of organisations and partnerships across the County and Region. We believe that strategies should be based on a holistic model of wellbeing and reflect the expressed needs and active involvement of communities. This requires a shift to power sharing between communities, community groups and the public sector organisations. Our programme supports and strengthens cross sectoral partnership working through the development of a shared sense of purpose , an understanding of the assets of communities and the building of the evidence base of community focused projects.
