‘The Future of Welsh Film..’ What does this mean to you?

To mark 130 years of cinema in Wales, Dion Hughes (Pontio Bangor), Dr Kate Woodward (Aberystwyth University), and Nia Edwards Behi (Screen and Sound Archive of the National Library of Wales) discuss what Welsh film means to them. From identity and history, to culture and language, to commercial and contemporary – they discuss the ‘rare and embracing’ feeling of watching Welsh culture on a big screen and their hopes for the future of filmmaking and Wales’ screen industries.
