The Fund offers £500 of financial support to new artists to create their first Welsh language music video. This could include a completely new artist or band that’s looking to create their first music video, or an established artist releasing their first Welsh language song. This fund will finance 20 new music videos.

Here are the terms and conditions of the Fund:
Creation and promotion
1.1 The video will be created to promote a currently unreleased track
1.2 The release date of the video will be agreed with PYST and will need to coincide with the digital release of the track on streaming platforms.
1.3 You’ll be collaborating with PYST throughout, with regular check-ins to update us on your progress, receive campaign advice and much more.
1.4 The video will need to be delivered 14 days ahead of its release
1.5 It is the responsibility of the artist to deliver the final video in a format that has been agreed in advance with PYST (PYST will be able to advise on this) at least 14 days before the video’s release date. The artist will also deliver, at the same time, a vertical 30 second clip of the video and at least 3 still images from the video for promotional purposes.

1.7 The @s4cmiwsig and @pystpyst accounts should be tagged when sharing the video on social media
1.8 The video will be shared on Am, and S4C reserves the rights to broadcast the video on the channel’s networks.

2.1 The artist confirms that all necessary rights to broadcast the video worldwide have been secured, including the consent of anyone who has worked on the video, musical rights and any additional film content
2.2 The fund (£500) will be paid in two payments of £250 (prior and post delivery of final video)
Terms & Conditions
3.1 PYST will need to be notified of any change(s) to the original plan
3.2 Artists do not need to distribute their music via PYST
3.3 The fund may not be used for a video that has already been created
