Over a period of ten years, Emyr Glyn Williams would film all the rock artists who entered the Ankst Records orbit and the results of this activity forms the basis for this music film. A series of individual portraits that viewed together give us a generational group portrait. It is a sensible and ordered film about a very imortant period in our cultural life – the final decade before devolution and is also a witness to the belief that there’s not much point sitting on the fence.
