Anthony Evans

Originally from Cross Hands in Camarthenshire, Anthony Evans now lives and works in Cardiff, where he is one of a group of artists that established the company Old Library Artists and Oriel Canfas in Canton, Cardiff.
After attending Trinity College in Camarthen he worked for several years as a teacher before becoming a full time artist in 1990.
Anthony has exhibited extensively across Wales and England and has been involved with artistic projects and exhibitions in Europe, India and the USA. His work is held in private collections in Wales, the USA and Australia

Young Welsh Artists

Young Welsh Artists is a new, annual exhibition established by MOMA Machynlleth to support and promote contemporary art in and from Wales.
The first exhibition showcases the work of artists under 30 and has been organised by two emerging curators; Mari Elin Jones and Lloyd Roderick.
Works exhibited, including painting, sculpture, photography, installation and film, offer a glimpse of the diversity of contemporary practice in Wales.
The exhibition will open at MOMA Machynlleth on 28 November 2020 by appointment.

Gŵyl Arall: Be sydd ar dy feddwl?
This is a project by Menai Rowlands and Eleri Parry in association with CARN and the Gwyl Ffor Arall.
A project that aimed to get the public to share their thoughts, memories, opinions etc with us (completely confidential), with a short film as the finished product. The response could be made in a variety of ways, such as a handwritten note, a sketch, a typed paragraph or an audio recording.
A non-language film but with bilingual content.
