The National Eisteddfod is one of our most iconic festivals, with over 1,000 different events and activities during the week. An eclectic mix of all cultural genres, it’s welcoming, inclusive and friendly. From literature to street theatre and drama, and from science to activities for Welsh learners, the festival offers something for everyone. Live music is an integral part of the week, with the scene’s leading bands performing on the open air stage, acoustic sessions in Caffi Maes B, folk sets in the Ty Gwerin and classical and alternative music in Encore. This is the year of Eisteddfod AmGen, with sessions across all digital platforms and in the press and media throughout the summer.
