Deaf and Fabulous

Deaf & Fabulous Productions is a new company from Steph Back, created to develop Fow (previously I Said I Love You). Steph explains: “There isn’t enough work putting Deaf role models on the stage. It is rare that I see a story which reflects my own life. I want to be in control of a project that is about MY language and the language of the place that I have chosen to live.” As a Deaf person, Steph is passionate about developing work which puts Deaf characters and Deaf culture centre stage.
