Gŵyl Fwyd Caernarfon food festival has been organised by a group of volunteers since 2015. It has grown into one of the largest festivals of its kind and every May thousands arrive for a fine day and a chance to enjoy food, drink and life in all corners of the town. The festival is free to all and celebrates the unique culture of the most Welsh speaking town in the world with live music and a host of activities.
Since March 2020 the group has organised digital events to support producers and lift the spirits.
