.The project Pererin Wyf / Is Oilithreach Mé / I am a Pilgrim began in September 2022 with a series of free online workshops with world class speakers focusing on connecting with the Welsh and Irish diaspora through the key themes of identity, language, home, travel and song. All the workshops were recorded and in the coming weeks Span Arts will be sharing this content through their channel on the AM Cymru platform.

Introduction with Professor E Wyn James
The project began on the 29th September with an introduction to the activity of the project and a talk by Welsh historian Professor E Wyn James. Professor James introduced the context of the life and work of William Williams Pantycelyn, the author of the hymn from which the project takes its inspiration, Pererin Wyf.
Pererin Wyf has been commissioned by the Ancient Connections Project led by Pembrokeshire County Council with partners Wexford County Council, Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority and Visit Wexford. It is funded by the European Regional Development Fund through the Ireland Wales Co-operation Programme.
