Tafwyl is delighted to announce the details of Tafwyl Fringe Week which will start on 12 June 2022 at locations across the capital during the week before Tafwyl on the weekend of 18 and 19 June 2022.
The week will include a variety of events will be held during the week for children, families, young people, students and Tafwyl fans.
Events will include Dragwyl, a Behind the Lens event, Children’s Storytime, numerous fashion, music and performance events at the University of South Wales, a city tour, Twrw gigs at Clwb Ifor Bach, Body Confidence and Self Love event with Jess Davies and Mari Gwenllian, Sgwad Sgwennu (writing event) with Casi Wyn, and much more! Venues for the week include The Atrium (University of South Wales), Clwb Ifor Bach, Studio S, Cant a Mil Shop, The Other Room (Porters).

“We are delighted to announce the schedule for the week that includes a host of diverse events that will be a great start to Tafwyl celebrations in the capital. It’s great to be able to take Tafwyl to different places across Cardiff – and working with diverse people.
There’ll be many highlights during the week including the first Welsh Drag Night on the Thursday, the Self Confidence evening at Stiwtio S, the ever popular Storytime, and the Bwrlwm events for children aged 7 and over. We are pleased that the events are open to all – a warm welcome for Welsh learners to come and experience Welsh culture and those new to the culture – come and join us!”
