SSAP is an expanding international development organisation. You will be working with SSAP and Kumbukumbu project partners responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering all activities relating to Kumbukumbu project in Wales. The post holder will be responsible for working with Kumbukumbu Project partners to map and research Welsh African heritage, memories, and culture across Wales. Your role will also include designing and exploring digital solutions to creating an augmented app inspired by African traditions of remembering and retelling heritage. You will be required to build a chore team of digital designers, programmers and writers will build the app, re-engage with communities and contributors at key stages of the build to receive feedback and test the app. This will include neurodiverse and disabled people to ensure the app meets accessibility criteria. You will be expected to travel as part of build app promotion and testing across Wales to connect and test the app at key landmarks, ensuring the workability and user experience on-site. The post holder for this role will need to have an established relationships with relevant groups in Wales for the purpose of the community engagement element of the role.

Salary: £30,151.00 per annum
