The Preseli Poetry Slam

In Spring 2019 Span worked with Planed’s Preseli Heartlands project on the Preseli Poetry Slam. Poet Karen Owen held several workshops across the Heartlands communities culminating in a poetry slam at Newport Memorial Hall where Preseli’s budding poets were able to share their work and Karen presented a dynamic premiere of her new poem written in response to the project, Chwechawd Preseli.
