This 2 day course is focused on working with darker skin tones, skincare preparation, face shapes & colour corrective techniques, makeup application for a variety of skin tones
For whom?
This masterclass is for make-up and hair artists working in the TV and Film industry or Theatre & Live Events in Wales who want to improve their skills in handling make-up for people with darker skin tones.
By the end of the workshop you will be able to?
Recognise the differences in darker skin tones.
Identify the most common undertones and brands that are good to use.
Utilise skincare and best techniques
Establish why it’s important to get the shades right?
Explain why you might need to apply 2 or 3 foundation shades on darker skins.
Practice mix shades and formulas on skin.
Undertake Application and layering
Perform longevity of makeup. How to make it last all day.
Administer skin analysis, techniques on each other’s arms first then faces.
