Insaafi have been researching the use of Prevent and safeguarding powers by the State over the last 18 months looking at both England and Wales in the context of Palestine solidarity. As part of this we have been talking to young people at encampments, lecturers at Universities and family members of the Filton 24 whose sons and daughters have been imprisoned due to direct action. Our research report is out next month and we are holding an online event to launch it with guest speaker Arun Kundnani on Thursday September 25th 6-8pm.
