WAHWN is committed to continually reviewing our Welsh language delivery and effectiveness against our developing plans and policies.
We are aware that the majority of our delivery for artists is currently in English, due to the fact that our creative freelance membership base predominantly represents English language practitioners.
We want to have a better representation of Welsh language artists in our network meetings and training events.
After some conversations with Einir Sion, Welsh Language Enabler at Arts Council Wales and Nia Wyn Skyrme, Arts & Health Practitioner and Producer, we want to offer a dedicated space for Welsh language practitioners in Arts, Health & Wellbeing this Autumn to meet, discuss and explore how WAHWN can reduce barriers to engagement and increase our Welsh language delivery.
