‘The Voice’ is a collaboration between Ogun & Aisha Kigs that embodies the nuances of Ogun’s identity, history and social context. With reference to local social justice issues in the case of Christopher Kapessa and Siyanda Mngaza, two local people who have suffered at the hands of the system, Ogun weaves his personal story with the stories of his community; a community that remains close to his heart. He references the multiplicity of his heritage and identity; Welsh, Nigerian, Togolese & Italian.
