In Eileen’s Words:
“I’m an artist originally from Co. Down, Northern Ireland, currently living and working in North Wales. I particularly enjoy the rhythms of hand stitch, and, also writing poetry and music, I am interested in developing the symbiotic relationship between stitch, sound, and word. Earlier this year, I put on my PhD Exhibition A Sorrowful Healing in the School of Art Gallery, Aberystwyth University and, currently writing my thesis, this will, when finished, complete the work for my doctorate. After this, I will look forward to once more exhibiting my textile work and installations in galleries here in Wales and beyond.”
