Young Welsh Artists is back! The annual exhibition was established by MOMA Machynlleth to support and promote artists of Wales aged 30 and under.
In this, the third installment, eight exciting young artists have been selected by curators Mari Elin Jones and Lloyd Roderick.
The artists were invited to present works in any medium and on any theme. The result is a collection of eclectic artworks, ranging from paintings and photographs, to sculptures and audiovisual pieces. Each artist’s work deals with different subjects, such as memory, place, language and the self, but together they offer an insight into the various experiences of life in 2022, and reflect the vibrancy of contemporary art in Wales.
The eight artists are Caitlin Dolman, Dottie-may Aston, PJ Ke, Ffion Griffiths, Elena Grace, Mia Offelia, Erin Donnelly a Dione Jones. Head to AM’s homepage to enjoy their art now!
