Announcing AmCam3!

Thanks to the support of Dydd Miwsig Cymru, Am’s proud to announce that we’re supporting the creation of four short documentary films about music activity within communities in Wales. The four filmmakers were selected from the applications for AmCam2.

 

The AmCam3 music documentary film festival will be screened on Am early next year to celebrate Welsh Language Music Day 2026! In the meantime, get to know the four filmmakers:

 

Lleucu Elisa

Originally from the Cardigan area, Lleucu Elisa now lives and works as a video editor in Cardiff. In addition to this, Lleucu continues to work freelance as a videographer and coordinator of social media campaigns. Lleucu has worked on a wide variety of musical projects, from being a Maes B videographer during the Pont-y-pridd Eisteddfod, to shooting and editing a music video for Sywel Nyw and Dewin. Lleucu is passionate about the music scene here in Wales, especially in areas beyond the Capital City, as she works as a Social Media Officer on the revival of the Community Flash label. As a young person who loves music he has enjoyed the pleasure of being able to work to the accompaniment of the best music Wales has to offer.

 

Kieron Shand

Kieron Shand is a filmmaker living and working in Cymru. He has a strong passion for multi-faceted creative expression, utilising various artistic mediums in order to create eclectic and impactful films. Through the lens of neurodivergence, disability, and existentialism, he uses his filmmaking ability to tell introspective and visually engaging stories.

 

Lowri Page

Lowri Page is a filmmaker and multidisciplinary artist from north Powys. She has a background in documentaries about visual artists, and in recent years has begun experimenting with mixed-media video work, including her first music video. She also creates photography and illustration work alongside filmmaking..

 

fruitb0y

fruitb0y is a multi-disciplinary visual artist from Talgarth in the Bannau Brycheiniog. Working across graphics, film, poetry, music, illustration, graffiti, photography and more, they build whole artistic worlds that dive into themes of mental health, home, culture, poverty, rural living, sexuality, gender and politics. Their style blends rough, rugged imagery with heartfelt, passionate messages, proudly representing their culture, family, and community.
