Theatrau Sir Gâr

Theatrau Sir Gȃr is a collective of three unique theatres based in the county of Carmarthenshire. The group presents a vibrant programme of high-quality productions across three venues including theatre, comedy, opera, gritty dramas, pantomime, dance, new writing, music to suit all tastes, tribute shows and more.

The Theatrau Sir Gȃr venues include the state-of-the-art Ffwrnes Theatre in Llanelli; Carmarthen’s beautiful grade ll listed theatre, The Lyric; and a hidden gem in Ammanford, The Miners’ Theatre.

Leeway Productions

Leeway Productions is a theatre company dedicated to producing new and existing musical theatre repertoire for theatres and audiences in Wales and beyond. We are the only professional company in Wales dedicated solely to musical theatre. We use artist-led practice to challenge traditional forms of music theatre and want to re-position musical theatre as an art-form that sits side by side with programming across all venues throughout Wales. Focusing on Musical Theatre we inspire creatives to collaborate on bold productions, creating work especially for small, mid-scale venues and festivals. Leeway Productions have a clear focus on becoming diversity confident and making work that is accessible to enable a new audience to try something different.

This is an audio series in 5 parts for listeners aged 11+. Created as an international collaboration between artists in Wales and Norway, we uncover the effects of climate change on culture through the adventurous and heart-warming story of Evie and Deean – two teenagers who invite us into their world of friendship, crisis and acceptance.
