VAINE is a magazine and creative platform founded in 2020 to give a voice to emerging artists and writers. Based in Wales, it publishes thematic issues on a quarterly basis, offering a selection of poetry, short fiction, features writing and art from emerging artists and writers from around the world, and is available in both digital and print.
More than simply a magazine, it is a growing community of new creative talent.
Recently awarded a grant from the Welsh Books Council, the magazine is now paying contributors, and is looking to expand its future operations into video-streaming, book publishing and cultural events.
