  • Theatr na nÓg was founded almost 40 years ago to meet the needs of the community in West Glamorgan and the Company has come a long way since the early days.

Theatr na nÓg is on a mission to ignite the imagination of the nation. We believe that people of all ages and backgrounds should be able to experience accessible, live theatre of the highest quality. We have pushed the boundaries of our traditional work and have raised our profile on both a national and an international stage.

We produce plays for our school’s audience attracting schools from as far afield as Ceredigion to the West and Monmouthshire in the East. With a loyal and supportive network of schools, we are keen to champion and nurture young people in the Arts.

We are also a regular provider of main stage work that appeals to a wide range of ages and tour to venues across the UK.
