Our vision is of an arts world where the stories told & the voices heard are genuinely reflective of the world we live in; where the theatre we make understands audiences of all backgrounds & invites and welcomes them in. We believe in a theatre where the playing field is level & everyone has equality of access.
Taking Flight has been creating accessible and inclusive work for over 12 years. The work has extensively toured across Wales and England. European touring includes Republic of Ireland and most recently Germany where we were invited to perform and speak at TheaterFestival Grenzenlos Kulture as an example of best practice in accessible theatre. We recently toured a critically acclaimed production of Kaite O’Reilly’s peeling and an adaptation of Kathryn Cave’s children’s book, You’ve Got Dragons.
