Editorially independent and unencumbered by the need to turn a profit, money generated won’t be siphoned off into shareholder dividends but will be spent instead on investigative journalism that will hold Wales’ decision-makers to account.
It is also important that we provide a platform not just for content that will appeal to a commercial audience, but for content created by anyone who has something interesting to say, whatever their politics, class, gender identity or background.
Since launching we have attracted 2.9 million visitors to the site and in November 2019 attracted our highest ever monthly audience of 210,00 visitors.
