Bara Caws is a community theatre company established over forty years ago to fulfill the demand for professional theatre for the Welsh community in the Welsh community. We continue to offer our unique brand of work to grass roots audiences, bringing entertainment and excitement, ingenuity and relevance to the very hearts of the communities of Wales. Giving as many people as possible the opportunity to enjoy and participate in the arts on their doorsteps has been integral to the Company’s ethos since its inception, and we pride ourselves on delivering an eclectic and varied artistic program.
There are two aspects to our vision for the future: continuing with the work of enriching and challenging our communities, and contributing towards developing a new generation of creative practitioners and theatre-makers ensuring that the legacy continues.
