Map Digi Penfro

Map Digi Penfro is a project seeking to create a ‘deep’ map of Pembrokeshire. Over the past year the Span Digidol team has been visiting locations in Pembrokeshire recording people’s thoughts and feelings about the places in which they live. This film records our first intensive weekend last July spent at Garn Fawr on the Strumble Head Peninsula in the company of a geologist, archaeologist, botanist and poet and a group of children from Goodwick Primary School. The project seeks to explore places from many and diverse perspectives leading to a deeper and richer understanding of place. The map created as a result of this weekend can also be viewed online.
