Dactyl Terra + Waterpistol + Soundwire

NEW SUPPORT ADDED // TICKETS ON SALE

Emerging deep from ancient rock formations in the South Wales Valleys,
experimental space-groove and psychedelic rockers Dactyl Terra offer laser-beam
boogaloo for the celestial earthlings. Underpinned by a well-oiled rhythm section,
infectious space rock synths and cosmic melodies, Dactyl Terra invites us to surf the
interstellar Tsunami.

“Groove-heavy, energetic and bewilderingly fun” – CLASH

Dactyl Terra have just released their debut album Fee Fi Fo Fum which follows the
rapturously received EP1. This new body of songs is an encapsulation of their
experiments and sonic adventures over the past couple of years.

We can’t wait to witness their return to CWRW! More praise for Dactyl Terra:
“Free form krautrock that chugs along like a well- oiled locomotive on acid. Their take
on psychedelic rock is one borne out of free-spirited jams and improv, conjuring up a
charming retro scene.” – GIGWISE

“Dactyl Terra make psychedelic rock music but not as we know it. Fusing an array of
influences and ideas from jazz and funk to forays into metal and shoegaze territories,
theirs is a sonic maelstrom that should make Saturday teatime a beguiling
experience.” – UNDER THE RADAR

“They craft a psych stained groovy sound that will light a fire and get your feet
moving!” – GOD IS IN THE TV

“Most certainly the mosher’s choice. Their sound is noisy and frenetic but by no
means brash or overblown, leaning more towards well-crafted riff driven melodies,
confident psych/garage rock sensibilities, and visceral textures flecked with spacey
synth sounds” – CLASH
//
Dactyl Terra will be joined by returning rock ‘n’ roll collective Waterpistol, taking
inspiration from the likes of The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Marty Robbins and The
Mamas and Papas to create a sonic explosion of jazz, blues and celestial shoegaze.

Also joining the line-up, Soundwire are a psych alt.noise band known for their
appearances on Repeat Records’ ‘Lovely Ugly’ Swansea-centric compilation and on
‘Under The Bridge 2’, a collection of new music by Sarah Records bands. Soundwire
are currently working on their second studio album, due for release later this year.
