Artist Preswyl / Artist in Residence 2024: Gabriella Rhodes

Enlli Artist in Residence: July 13th – 27th 2024 

Gabriella Rhodes graduated from Manchester School of Art in 2018 with a BA (Hons) in Three-Dimensional Design. Her practice is rooted in artistic research, materiality and the environment. After shifting from commercial ceramics to a site-specific craft practice influenced by vernacular architecture, she now creates sculptural objects from local and abundant materials that invite reflection on earthy matter as a ‘resource’ and the role material circularity has in contemporary craft and ecological discourse.
